she's more of a 'new' friend for me here in lethbridge -- i heard of her first in the fall, and by christmas we were exchanging witty banter, but it was during a looong evening of eating pie and making posters for ivcf that we really bonded.
now we're friends fo sho.

this is daniel.
his last name is 'shorten' which is pretty awesome, because he's kinda tall.
daniel's a computer science major, but if he takes computer science 1000, it doesn't count towards his degree. however, he did have to take math 2000 (the U of L uses 4 digit course numbers, rather than the standard 3 digit ones used at other schools). Math 2000 gave daniel exam anxiety.
daniel came over for waffles on saturday mornings when prayer group was still happening.

she's going to be my one of my roommates (ok, housemates) next year, along with deanna, and troy and kirsten taylor, and jasmine the dog of indeterminate species.
mariah is a beautiful girl (as you can tell), and she's a brilliant gem of a person. she's a german major, and she's from airdrie, ab. i'm really excited to be living with her next year.

he's not a friend from lethbridge -- i know him from back home in richmond.
ryan lives with andrew lee in vancouver, and my brother tells me that their apartment is uber cool.
ryan works for canada post, and fixes my bike for free because he thinks costco bikes are of a superior craftsmanship (just kidding -- he doesn't think that). during his freetime, ryan allows his face to become the billboard for krysta lowe's homepage.

There's not really anything here about Paul Simon -- I'm just listening to his album right now.
