it was...a morning of [reluctant] praise.

I just woke up from a 3-hour nap. I always feel really hot when I wake up from a mid-afternoon nap. But SOOOooooo good.

This morning @ U.Chapel was good. It's strange, because I loved it when I was a kid [we used to go in the summers when my dad had time off], and it retains for me a nostalgic sense of summer breezes, freedom, sandcastles, and sunshine. All the weightless joys of July and August and bare foot adventures.

It's different now, with some years in my bones, and some grasp of church politics in my brain.
